- If your lender requires flood insurance in connection with the making, increasing, extending or renewing of your loan.
- If an additional amount of insurance is required as a result of a map revision.
- If flood insurance is required as a result of a lender determining that a loan, which does not have flood insurance coverage, should be protected by flood insurance. The coverage will be effective upon the completion of an application and the presentment of payment of premium.
- If an additional amount of insurance is being obtained in connection with the renewal of a policy.

National Flood Insurance Program - What is the NFIP? |
| |
The U.S Congress established the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) with the passage of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968. The NFIP is a federal program enabling property owners in participating communities to purchase insurance as protection against flood losses in exchange for State and community floodplain management regulations that reduce future flood damages.

What's the Cost of a Flood? (According to FEMA) |

Even a few inches of flood water can cause extensive damage to your home.
Please note: Dollar amounts are hypothetical, based on varying levels
